Glad to see that even the "pro" racers make that mistake! I know this feeling all to well, except I wasn't shifting at 10K rpm!! My only thought was, "Dangit - Now how am I going to get home..." as I had drove to the track in Michigan for some afternoon fun... End result: my pressure plate exploded (the thick cast ring that clamps the clutch disc to the flywheel) and send bits & pieces everywhere. What a mess...
Dad - When do I get to drive the beast...

I think its time for shep to invest in some aerodynamic parts for his car. His car is very unstable. He needs some spoilers and 7.7 at 191 MPH is just insane. At this rate, he will probably get into the 6's.

Wow. Could you imagine what it would be like to try and control a car, going sideways, towards a wall, at 150mph on slicks?
Betch'ya a few of those close calls made his a-hole pucker up to the size of a decimal point.....

(Don't get me wrong, from the first vid, I agree they might help, but he seems to mostly get out of shape too early for aerodynamic benefits).
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!
