Me & my buddies were at the above mentioned address last night and the place was packed with cars, some are nice, some are rice, most of them came from Darknights. A few even have U.S. plates on them. Anyways, cops showed-up at around 1:30 am and blocked all the exits. They were inspecting every car leaving for anything they can find illegal I guess. Fortunately, we got out without getting inspected by going thru the 24hr Esso station at the corner which they couldn't block. They even got their chopper circling above with the lights focused at the cars below. There's even this guy with a video camera from CTV asking some guys if they would like to appear in a documentary about "street racing" and I think some of them agreed. I guess they don't know about the story of the guy from Woodbridge in the A&E documentary that his insurance company dropped. Well, even after all that's happened, I'll be back there on Saturday again. Later...... ------------------ ErickBlack '98 TSi AWD

I'm not so sure if I'll be back so soon. Things got pretty hairy for awhile. Can the cops can actually do that? Anyway I got out the Esso to, but they eventually blocked that off as well. Imagine holding 600+ cars hostage in a parking lot to check if they have super white halogen lights! I would've loved it if some senior ranking government official that was getting gas, was inconvienced because they blocked off all the exits!

Erick...he pre, you even invited me to come over that place to check it out. *whew* now that you tell me, thats a lot of hassle though being in that pressure*L* Why would these halogen lights be illegal though? Didn't it come with the car models lately? Or is that different from the blue lights???

That's terrible! If they were doing this to any other organization there would be a huge stink about it! But since most of the import scene is youngr kids they feel they can get away with it because they don't know any better. The only reason for them blocking the road is if they are on a man-hunt for someone and he's assumed to be in the area! There's no reason for them to block the road for a few noisy exhausts and some head light tickets!!!! I would be really pissed if I were there. ------------------ 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 13.98 @ 100.24mph Chirped Neutral.....oh wait that was my timing belt breaking. My Attempt at a website

The cops aren't there every weekend, so I don't think they'll show-up this Saturday. Besides, they were out in full force this past weekend already, handing-out tickets to speeders going to & coming from Darknights and at 16th & Woodbine.

There are going to be there more and more often, trust me. It's the same thing that happened with Millies where eventually they were coming by almost every night to "enforce the law".
