Anyone in/around the Ottawa area this weekend is invited to the Luskville Dragway. I am more than likely going to go Sunday, so if you are actually looking to hook up with me, please feel free to dorp by. I will update this post if there is any change in plans, since we all know my luck with my car.

The main purpose of my going to the drags would be to try my car out on the track. I have never been in an actual drag race, so this is my cherry-poppin' moment. It'd be all the sweeter if my Ottawa gang would join me, and maybe we can get some mini-elimination going on. Of course we will have our fair share of ricers to drag against if it's the same as it was last year, so be prepared to show off your driving skills!

Go to the Luskville Dragway Website for directions. Please post if you plan on coming since I literally live on the way to the strip. We can probably get a little caravan going, and imagine how much more attention we'll get pulling into the place with a buncha DSMs. w0rd!

Edit: I am speaking with the Manager of the dragway to find out exactly what kind of discount we can get with X number of cars, so the more, the merrier. I will post again with prices etc. when I find out (more than likely some time after 5pm Friday the 28th).

Good to hear your car is up and running. I'd like to go up with you but my car is still in the shop and I'll be out of town this weekend.
I agree, it would be great if we could all go up as a group. I'll be going to the strip a few times this summer regardless. Count me in from mid July on.

hah! My biss screw blew off tonight. Unless one of you guys can get me another one, I don't really want to drive my car... I'm not even sure if it's safe or not.

I'll search for a simple fix in the morning.

Either way, I'll be there both days. Not to race... (until I find out what that metal screeching sound is a 4000+ rpm)....

Today was awesome, and I just got you a NEW DSM member. Owns a great stock Laser RS. 15.5 for the 1/4 mile.

Anyway, next one is July 19th. Hope we can get a larger turn out of DSM.

Hey guys, I will defintely go but this weekend up until Thursday I am in Exeter, Ontario (30 minutes north of London) visiting the in-laws. FREAKING HOT HERE. 35C plus humidity. OUCH!!

My car is also at Tapp's getting the shifter fork done this week as well as maybe an AFC and 550's if they have time. If no time to do it, I will get it done within the next week SO that means my 16g and stock 450's will be for sale just as soon as I find 20g or bigger (used of course). HE HE HE HE. Can we say 12's. YAHOO!!!!

Ottawa was DEADLY today. During the day, even around like 6 the car was struggling....to soggy..

When I ran her late at night around 10 ish she was up to par again.....
