The thing is it will be in in its old form as my turbo has not even been shipped yet. They are still making the castings for Mitsubishi and will be another 2 weeks before it will be shipped. So Tapp will throw all the stuff in the car but will not dyno tune it as that is labour extensive and expensive. He will go by memory to get the settings like they were.

GARRET, anyway you can write down your settings or swing by Tapps when it is opened so he can copy the settings seeing you took my settings off of me and we have the same mods? That would help out alot. He will try tuning it tomorrow. If it is running ok I will run, if not, I will just cruise around and head up with you atleast.

Sidenote: I hope my turbo is ready for Invasion. Fill out the form guys if you are going and state what you want, hotel or camping. We will need names to give to the businesses for reservations and so far, no Ottawa guys have filled it out so I do not even know who is going or not.

Yasar, samething before you get your J pipe. Sorry dude. Nothing I can do about it but it is yours as soon as it is off. It was rubbing on the fan shroud so a little sanding and grey paint in a 1" area and it will look like new. You can see it Friday night.

THIS turbo better be worth it.

Does anyone know if Luskville opens early tomorow. I know they usually open up around 12:00 on saturdays but tomorows friday.

I got my car back from the body shop, and the RTM eagle emblem is looking sharp on the fresh paint.

POP for tomorrow night is 10%... maybe it'll rain a bit in the morning and be done with it. I would like to go, but I'm putting on my new wheels tomorrow, followed by an alignment. If there's a problem, I might not be able to make it. Hopefully, it'll be good!

July has been a nasty month for sure. Hopefully the wet will stay away until LATE night as opposed to early evening. I am running in the quick 8 Tapp is holding.

8 guys run. WInner moves onto the final 4, than the final 2. Winner gets a $100 or so. Out of the 8 cars, 4 Talons because we KICK ASS. Basically, I will race the first race and sit out as most everyone has WAY more power than me. No Tapp is not running in this event as that is extremely unfair.

Hope everyone comes out. Geoff, in your WRX also.

DAMN RAIN

Geoff, you sure you don't have that mixed up with humidity (78%)? POP is supposed to be 30% only, and it rained this morning as "planned"... so maybe it'll be okay! But I agree, this year has sucked for weather.

Anyway... got my wheels on , and I'll try to make it there.

I couldn't make it yesterday... but for those who went, I hope you enjoyed the weather (seemed pretty good in Ottawa, at least).

The weather was dry, but the humidity was affecting us big time. I red lighted in the quick 8, and Tom ended up going to the finals against a Civic. The Civic won....They sprayed VHT on the launchpad only, so a few times, when my car left the concrete, all four tires lit up, and I ended up hitting rev limiter, which screwed up my runs.

Finally, at the end of the night, I managed to bang off a couple of 12.6's, and a 12.55 @ 114 mph.

The 12.55 run, I had a 2.0 60 ft. time, due to traction issues again. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with those numbers for my second time at a track.. I'm hoping to head up next weekend, to try for 11's. I logged a couple of runs, and noticed I have more room before I have to shift, so I'll work on that next time out.
