hey,
there is a cruise night tonight(sat.), is anyone from ottawa valley/ottawa area going to be there tonight?

Also there is a Quick 8 import race next week-end you guys should go, it usually ends up being a bunch of B16s, it would be nice for club dsm to dominate.

see you there

I was at the track last night.

Was in the red 2G awd.

I was running mid 14s all day, couldn't seem to do anything. I don't know what it was. I was running faster last year with a stock exhaust. I was there from around 3:00pm on. What a HOT day it was down there. Completely soaked to the skin even before the rain came for a visit.

I think i'm going to wait for some cooler weather before heading back to the track. My buddy with the blue civic hatch running low 13s couldn't break 12s again this year and he's putting down alot more power at the dyno. Was a day of dissappointments for the lot of us i think.

Chris.

i hear that.
in responce to (1st time at the track)
I got there late so i could only get one run in before the rain:(
anyway,
so i am at the line staged, and for some reason i was affraid to take my left foot of the brake in order to rev-up before launching(rookie mistake)
any way i start to see yellows dropping so i panick and try to rev to 5k, only making it to 3k before having to launch i jump forward cutting a .7 and you all know the results of a low launch pretty near come to a stop before getting the rpms up again, then i hit fuel cut in 3rd and ended up running an embarassing 15.3, and the worst part is it got rained out and i could't go again and better myself. Oh well next week i guess.
oh ya for anyone that was there i was the green 2g with yellow front and gray back.
later guys

Was that the one that looked like it had just had a few panels put on, not painted?

Altezza eclipse rear lights... etc?

If so i saw it, I'm sure it'll look great when finished.

I also noticed that the right lane wasn't completely level!!! WTF! I'd get all nice and staged, let off the brakes and the car would creep forward. The left lane was fine though. Kind of pissed me off, hard to launch pressing both the brake and gas at the same time with the same foot I must say!!

yeah, as i mentioned in my reply to your other post, that right lane is bad news.

it's downhill to the lights, it's slanted off to the outside of the track and the run out has loads of big bumps.

that said, it's the closest 1/4 mile track we have...too bad Calabogie didn't put one in.
