Since nothing seems to be happening, Marco will rent London this summer and do our own shootout. There won't be any entry fees, and he will do a BarBq with free beer. He reserved a Motel for anyone wanting to stay over. That's going to be free too.

Magnus rocks.

it's going to be ready tomorrow, I promise

WOAH, everybody hold it!

Good idea tho, who wants to do the shootout in london? cause I can get dibs on a date right now, I would suggest some of you see if you can get some american talent to come up. But I wouldn't limit it to only DSM.

But its a good idea if you guys are srious we can do something.

I think we should have an event of some description. We need someone who has organized things like this before to lead the way, maybe Marco's the person to do that! [Linked Image]
How about a DSM takes on the world event? Invite anyone to show and go up agianst us eg F bodies, Honda's, Fords etc. No need for prizes or pay outs just bragging rights [Linked Image]

That's a great idea Michel! And can Marco make an ice rink with snow bank all around (Artificial ice and snow would be fine) So I can for officialy be the one that is the best at getting stuck in snow banks???

Seriously I would be there for sure!!! Even if I have to pay for the beer! [Linked Image]

P.S. - Michel: By the sounds of it, you were at the last T.O. monthly meeting. This EXACT thing ws mentioned!!

Would Shannonville be a better idea though, and then the Ottawa/Montreal guys/chicks could come too. And we could party our asses off all night!

Maybe it could be an import thing, or maybe a turbo thing.

Well, a function in my backyard that sounds to good to be true. If you need someone to do anything to help set it up let me know.(I'm about 20min from the strip!) That is drag strip not strip bar mind you we could do that to if there is an interest!

Now I know some of you Know some DSM members in the states, It would be good If every one of you could Throw the idea at them and see what they think? Point them to the thread too, If there is enough interest I can book now since I have already been offered prime dates that dont interfere with NIRA or IDRC dates, So get on it. I'm gonna put a pointer in the announcments thread cause I know not everybody looks at this thread.

Once we get a date picked, we can tell Todd Day, and have him slide it into the upcoming events section in the digest, and on the main DSM site..

Sign me up. All I need is a time and place. Shannonville would be cool, but anywhere in Ont. is OK. Is there a place to pitch a tent and do the bonfire thing at London?

Is anyone going to the Sarnia/Grand Bend or Michigan drag race weekends in the summer?

Ok don't take what I say for granted... but if we come up with a fixed date I might be able to have really good prices on hotel rooms...

My current client is a travel wholeseller and can have some really good deals on hotel rooms.... I will have to talk to him about that but I guess in exchange of some sort of publicity he would be interested!
