Since nothing seems to be happening, Marco will rent London this summer and do our own shootout. There won't be any entry fees, and he will do a BarBq with free beer. He reserved a Motel for anyone wanting to stay over. That's going to be free too. Magnus rocks. ------------------ Michel it's going to be ready tomorrow, I promise http://www.azur.qc.ca/rallye [This message has been edited by Michel Brais (edited February 11, 2000).]

WOAH, everybody hold it!
Good idea tho, who wants to do the shootout in london? cause I can get dibs on a date right now, I would suggest some of you see if you can get some american talent to come up. But I wouldn't limit it to only DSM.
But its a good idea if you guys are srious we can do something.

I think we should have an event of some description. We need someone who has organized things like this before to lead the way, maybe Marco's the person to do that! How about a DSM takes on the world event? Invite anyone to show and go up agianst us eg F bodies, Honda's, Fords etc. No need for prizes or pay outs just bragging rights ------------------ '91 Laser RS Turbo-"Sound Advice" guy. www.geocities.com/motorcity/speedway/5051 Turbo + Intercooler = The replacement for Displacement

That's a great idea Michel! Seriously I would be there for sure!!! Even if I have to pay for the beer! ------------------ Frank Real thirsty 92 Laser RS TURBO AWD

Now I know some of you Know some DSM members in the states, It would be good If every one of you could Throw the idea at them and see what they think? Point them to the thread too, If there is enough interest I can book now since I have already been offered prime dates that dont interfere with NIRA or IDRC dates, So get on it. I'm gonna put a pointer in the announcments thread cause I know not everybody looks at this thread.

Once we get a date picked, we can tell Todd Day, and have him slide it into the upcoming events section in the digest, and on the main DSM site.. ------------------ 1992 Eagle Talon Tsi FWDSuperiority after 60'.. ICQ # 9622983 www3.sympatico.ca/steve.kinnaird

Sign me up. All I need is a time and place. Shannonville would be cool, but anywhere in Ont. is OK. Is there a place to pitch a tent and do the bonfire thing at London?

Count me in as well. Ive been racing at London for over 4 years now and I prefer that track over Kayuga any day. I dont how many of you have been there before but its great. The best part is that on regular race days its mostly domestics and you get to kick the sh!t out of em. Ok don't take what I say for granted... but if we come up with a fixed date I might be able to have really good prices on hotel rooms...
My current client is a travel wholeseller and can have some really good deals on hotel rooms.... I will have to talk to him about that but I guess in exchange of some sort of publicity he would be interested!
