I may go, I will have to see how the talon is feeling when the shootout comes. If not I would still like to go if I can get a ride with someone? [Linked Image]
ps Hi Dan I drive a black 2g with vanity plates, you will recognize me by my plates.

Hey, Pete I have a ? for ya. Have you ever done a t-belt or a clutch on one of these beasts. I'm definitely doing the t-belt myself but I'm a little Leary about the clutch. I have a place indoors to do it.
If not then how about a good shop that you might recommend for the clutch?!
Let me know when you will be in town and we will get together.

ps thanks for the ride offer I might take you up on that or we can caravan down together.

Just racing Keith... it's for serious DSM owners only.

Just kiddin' with ya... [Linked Image]

No, they have everything. Racing, autoX, and if someone organizes it again this year, a car show. Mark did it in the past, but it's a lot of work. I'm not sure if anyone is running it this year yet.

Don't expect a normal car show though, this would be considered somewhat more casual, since it's not a focal point of the weekend.

As for how do we get there... well, we drive. [Linked Image] Caravans get setup from various areas, and everyone goes down in groups usually.
The Windsor guys, well, you can probably go through Detroit and beat us there. Some of us have taken the lake ferry in the past, but this year will likely take the NY, PA, OH route around the south side of the lake.

PS: If you need a motel room, let me know soon. I need your info.

All of the hotels fill up completely, about a month or two ahead of time... and the big name economy ones are still charging $110 US a night. That's where our little group motel is a nice solution.

Hey Sean,

Well yes i have done a t-belt change before...It was 2 years ago and with my dad though, we rebuilt the whole top end. Now my dad is *cough* too old to help me out with the big jobs. BUT i too want to do my t-belt, it wont be until i get home for the summer (May 4th) though. We could do them back to back [Linked Image]

Umm as for the clutch thing i have never done one bfr, i thought you did so i could assist. I'd leave that to a shop since i dont really have a good idea how to do or what is required. I have no clue what shops are good in town. havent lived in Windsor long enough!

Maybe contact Fred M, i think he has had some work done localy on his 95 AWD.

Anyways, Ill give you a shout bfr i come home and we can hook up.

PS - I saw you again, on the 401 booking it south, i was going North though.
