Spoke to Cathy at the Gull Motel last night, to get an update, and update her on our progress.

Turns out, we've lost 4 rooms, to some long-term clients she has staying there.

So, at this point, we've only got about 5 rooms left, with a deadline approaching.

Sean's comment about trying to find a room at the last minute, and the associated costs, are dead on. This is a tourist zone... so they jack the rates, and still fill the rooms.
Note: his $120 quote, is average for the area, and is $120 US FUNDS! ($185 Canadian, A NIGHT!)

That's why we went looking for a better deal, and found the gull.
