UPDATE:
I regret to inform (please don't shed a tear here guys) that I will not be able to make it to the shootout this year.
I called speedstyle, and the amount has increased as such
3100$ Initially
then 3750$, then 3900$
Now, they take it out for a spin and the hanger bracket for the driveshaft is fubared. 125$ + 90$ Install. (roughly). To add to that, now my fuel pump assemply (the feeder tube) is rusted out causing a gas leak/smell. 1000$ from Satan. Or 200$ repair (roughly)..
Bringing the total to $4500 +
I am now well over the 12000$ repair mark on this car. I can't afford fun. I can't afford much.
Call me crazy ... I know I should have given up on this car. Stupid me. Too late to turn back now.
