I need your advice guys. This morning my clutch pedal started to have more and more freeplay. It got to a point where I could'nt disengage the gears easily. The problem is that I still have brake fluid in the reservoir. It did'nt go down at all (even though I had to add some 3 weeks ago). So Im not sure if it would be only a loss of fluid by the clutch master cylinder. what do you think??????? ------------------ Michel it's going to be ready tomorrow, I promise http://www.azur.qc.ca/rallye

Maybe got some air in there Michel when you put in the fluid. Try bleeding it from the slave cylinder see if there might be a bit of air in there. (The question remains though, where has the fluid gone) Leaky or clutch worn so bad, fluid taking up the slack. ------------------ Shawn ( Really my wifes car) Basso Love those f-bodies

go under the hood and watch the clutch slave as someone pushes on the clutch pedal...If it has full travel then it's something with the clutch itself. If it doesn't have full travel you have a much cheaper problem. Bleed the system again....

It sounds like a stuck throw out bearing. If it has siezed to the input shaft, it will not allow the clllutch to completely disengage. Sounds like it is time to pull the trans out before you burn up the clutch, ruin the flywheel and scar up the shaft.

I found it by rolling up pocket change. The ACT that has the cracked pressure plate at Benoits's? Thanks, but I'll try my centerforce think. ------------------ Michel it's going to be ready tomorrow, I promise http://www.azur.qc.ca/rallye
