A civic DX with the 13inch wheels and 1 inch tip, I don't think so.
My 4" tip ala PPG was knocked off in a horrific oversteer situation, that involved:
to much horsepower for you ladies to handle,
wrestling the controls,
drinking a bottle of jack daniels
and listen to the cries of "OOh Daddy from the passenger seat" as a 16" high freak of nature curb claimed the life of my expensive tip. Who builds 16" curbs anyway?
It was the only nice looking thing on my car save for the boost guage
