Ok, it's on!
We've worked out the details, figured out the solutions, and we're good to go.

So it's time for the final grudge match of the year.... the 2nd Annual Peckerhead Shootout, sponsored by Peckerhead Racing Ice Cream and Dairy Bar. (and to a much lesser extent Club DSM Canada)

If you've raced 10,000 times, or never at all, no worries, everyone is welcome.
If you've never been -- bring your car, and see what it can really do, in the safety of a professional drag track.

The discussion about Sparta is now out, for several reasons, not least of which was the distance.
But, in addition, a local london shop is having their year end T&T event on the 14th (the next day) at Sparta, and we wouldn't want people to have to choose one over the other.

Toronto Motorsports Park (in Cayuga, Ontario), has always been a bit more expensive, and a bit more complex, but they definitely have the nicer facilities and track.

They also will have a safety crew on site, throughout the day.... so heaven forbid, something goes wrong, you'll have the best chance of survival.

This is unique compared to regular T&T, because we will have the whole place to ourselves, and can do what we want.
Grudge matches, test & tune, whatever.
Yes, other friends (with or without DSMs) are welcome to come, as long as they respect the track rules, etc.
You can generally get in as many runs as you like.

Here's what we are doing:
Date: October 13th, 2006 (Friday, book it off NOW!)
Time: 10am-4pm (track probably open by 9:30am)
Place: www.torontomotorsportspark.com
NO TECH INSPECTION (some were worried about their battery relocation, etc)
Helmets are required, if you're faster than 14.0 (I think).

$80 per driver, spectators are free.

Drivers must provide a deposit up front of $30 to reserve a spot.
Refundable if it is rained out.
GO-NoGo (rainout) information will be posted on this thread, or in this section, the day of, by no later than 7am. (the weather network will never be that far off by that close)

So, please send:

$30

to

webmaster@ca.dsm.org

PayPal or Interac Email Money, is just fine.

The other $50, will be due to me, on arrival, before you race.
If you want to pay the whole $80 up front, and not have to have a hassle at the track of handling money, that's fine too.

Please include with your payment:
Name
Number where you can be reached.
Car Year, Make, Model, Colour, and License Plate.
(it will help me check you off at the track, that's all)

Thanks guys, looking forward to it!
Finally, we will get to see, the ince cream truck, take down the purple hair!
