It made about est. 150hp@crank without the balance shafts, lightened flywheel, header and exhaust, plus minor tuning with a timing bump and SAFC.

16.1s/85mph 1/4mile on the heavier (2750lbs) Galant.

If done similarly, with the higher 9.8:1, you can look at about 160@crank.

And it's supposed to have 9.8:1 pistons.
They was stock in Galant.
