I thought you guys might get a chuckle out of some of the emails we get privately, as admins. Mark observed, that this was definitely barrel worthy.

Ok, so another guy, (who may be the nicest guy in the world, but who we don't know from a hole in the ground) is looking to unload used parts, via a Hotmail account.
Ugh.
I get about one of these a week.

So, I reply:

Yes, it's always nice to have more parts to choose from, but this guy's email checks out as a Sympatico account, yet he keeps insisting he has to use Hotmail. So, he gets the terse response, designed to scare away would-be crooks.

Then we get the best one:

I HOPE THAT AS U MATURE IN LIFE U WILL LEARN THAT KEEPING CUSTOMERS HAPPY IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT IN THE GROWTH OF YOUR COMPANY. THIS MAY BE A HOBBIE FOR U BUT IT STILL REPRESENTS U AS A PERSON AND U AS A OWNER.

We observed since then, that he could be using his Sympatico account, and have received no reply.
Somehow he thinks we are a business, collecting a comission somewhere? smile

So, just in case someone thinks, that we aren't doing all we can to protect you from crooks, rest assured, a lot of it happens behind the scenes. tu

No one should worry about him surviving though, because after all, he makes more in 15 minutes, than we do in a day.
But only because he saves money, by using a Hotmail account... wink

And, he wanted us to make sure everyone knew about this situation, so consider yourself "told". wink

I think the key word in his last post, was "steal". (even if he spelled it 'steel')
