The bike situation is a tough one. I've been riding since I was a kid and I've learned a thing or two, but nothing more. ALWAYS anticipate the worst possible situation you could be in, know that you're not sharing the road with intelligent drivers in "cages", stay away from blind spots, wear your leathers, have a LOUD pipe, so if they don't see you they hear you, and keep out of the blind spots. I also love to ride with the high beams on in the daytime.

Since I used to race MX and ride Freestyle MX I use another tactic to keep from killing myself. I watch as many crash/death videos as possible before the season starts. During the riding season I like to watch a few to keep it fresh. I also think that "cagers" should be forced to do the very same thing.
