Just throwing this out there. But when my 90 talon did the exact same thing. It was the remote wire on the starter, it wouldn't clip on so everynow and then it would fall off. Having just rebuilt the starter and assembled it probably hasnt been overlooked. Also with the car just shuting off by itself thats kinda wierd.
