When Extreme posts "ships in 4-7 days", that means he does not stock them. That means he either orders them in as ordered, or gets the supplier to ship DIRECTLY to the customer. He has NO way of knowing IF they are in stock at any given point in time. I just ordered in a turbo from him that "ships in 4-7 days", but it is going to be at least three weeks. He doesn't advise that until after the order is placed and he finds the inventory status at the suppliers
Also, for the record, if it says "on order", he is waiting for more stock, and if it say "out of stock" he is not sure if he will be getting more or not, or at least he knows it will be quite a while until he gets more..
