Not with rpf1's . My previous white rims were 17x7 approx 20lbs each. These ones are 17x8 and only 15.6lbs each. Looks more aggressive and weighs about 4-5 lbs less per corner. It could only be better. This is actually a lightweight racing rim. Also slight stretch of a 215 tire on a 8" rim will make steering response a little better, though I didn't care much about that aspect.
