Did you get the head feed one? This turbo needs to be fed from the head, not OFH. Personally would I runn a BB turbo without a filter? Absolutly not, while BB turbos are said to be more durable & take more abuse then a std thrust turbo, they do not take well to oil contamination. Normally you shouldn't see anything in your turbo feed filter but if something strange happens & you have no filter to protect your turbo, you will probably damage the turbo. Which means a complete center section replacement, not sure the going rate but believe its over $500.
