Chromoly vs DOM definitely makes a difference. I am actually having a hard time deciding. Chromoly seems the better method at first but that becomes very debatable quickly! Chromoly will not be a do it yourself material whatsoever. I would hire a welder to do cage joints anyways, not messing with those.

The next problem comes from needing a racing seat to build the cage around! I ll keep at the other stuff for now. One thing at a time
