Ok you really haven't driven a DSM for a long time. Guys go taller than the USDM 1st gear by going to evo3, and here you are wanting to go shorter.

Bring your tranny by, I'll drop in a 64 tooth evo3 final drive for you, then I'll use your DSM 1st gear, change your rear diff to an evo ring and pinion, and I'll guarantee you'll have a pretty retarded ratio trans for your DSM
