Aim for 14.7:1 AFR. Going richer OR leaner from there can cause excess emissions.

Agree with Mike: pull some timing. Methyl Hydrate is likely the name that CTC (or any half decent parts store) uses for methanol. Setting the idle closer to 1000 could help too.

Is this the first time this car is being etested in your name? (ie. Have you ever plated it under your name in the past, or is this a "transfer of ownership" etest?)
