So I have a couple cars in mind for a switch (keeping 2gs, but wouldn't mind a turn-key heated recaro seat evo with stock spiffy speeds). Thing is, my insurance company quoted me quite a high amount just to add the car to the policy. I pay 2700 for the 2g a year (high already I know, blame Brampton), would be another 4100 to add the Evo X. Granted, I'm in Brampton (THE worse place to insure a car), but damn! If I was to add another 2g it's just another 20$ a month.

I know a couple evo owners in Brampton where this is very true. Is this a general thing with EvoXs? Seems to be in a bad bracket from an insurance/claims stand-point.
